Stylised animation goes inside Stephen Hawking’s mind
To mark the great professor’s Reith Lecture, which broadcasts on Radio 4 at 9am on 26th January, ‘Inside his Head’ is a wonderfully stylised visual kaleidoscope that offers a pithy celebration of Hawking’s incredible journey.
With 80’s kitsch imagery and scientific diagrams, that aim to bring complex physicist to the masses, the film engaging film has been specifically designed as a partner piece to accompany Hawking’s musings on black holes and thermodynamics (whatever the hell that is). With the intention of inspiring audiences into these deeply complex quantim theories, Aardman, the folk behind the video, promise to showcase a further animation explaining Black Holes and dark matter in less that two minutes.
