Interactive Ad Simulates Drowning

In what has to be one of the creepiest ads of the year, the importance of wearing a life-jacket is effectively marketed by a video that makes you feel like, well… you’re drowning.

The interactive vid by CLM BBDO puts you in the shoes of a bloke on a boat, who comes to something of a sticky end, with the viewer scrabbling to save him/you by scrolling the mouse as quickly as is humanly possible.

Simulating both the physical and mental fatigue drowning causes to some degree, its creepy, odd and uncomfortable in a wonderfully simple way.
